- RAW comes to us LIVE the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas!

We start with Eric Bischoff standing in his ring, alongside injured WWE Superstar Lita! Anyone who wants to check out football had better put their remotes down, because Raw is where the action is. There will be three Title matches tonight: Women's, IC, and World Championships. But it gets even better, because at No Mercy, the IC Champion will face the World Champion, winner takes all. One show, one champion: that's what Raw is all about. Some may say that's a little unorthodox, a little radical, but that's what Eric Bischoff is all about.

In the back, Christian and Storm argue over who is responsable for losing the Tag Titles. Test and Regal come in and tell them to stop whining like Americans. Regal says that they can show themselves as a dominant force tonight.

We go to Terri backstage, who asks Chris Jericho if he's worried about losing his IC TItle to Kane tonight. Jericho says that he's going to beat Kane and go right to the main event of No Mercy. Kane's chances of winning are as real as Terri's chest.

Gregory Helms, mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Globe, comes up and asks what is up with Jericho's belief that he can defeat Kane. Jericho tells him that freaks are not cool. Ask Booker T and Goldust. He's not going to be intimidated by a freak in scary red mask. Kane comes up, Jericho gets really nervous and says the interview is over. Terri asks Kane if he remembers kissing her last week for no apparent reason. Kane does, and she beckons him in close and returns the kiss. She walks off as a startled Hurricane and Kane exchange puzzled looks, then Kane breaks out into a toothy grin and tells Helms that chicks dig the mask.
