Career Highlights: Kane
has, in total held titles ten times. WWF title(1)[for one
night only], IC(1)[37 days], Tag(6)[123 days total],
Hardcore(1)[16 days] and WCW tag(1)[49 days].
On October 5, 1997, the
world was introduced to Kane ~ a seven-foot man/monster
who tore the door off the "Hell in the Cell" in
order to get to his brother, the UnderTaker. The
embittered brothers later fought in the first-ever
Inferno Match!
There has been no SuperStar
in history that has made more of an immediate impact than
Kane. Less than one year after he arrived, Kane became
the World Wrestling Federation Champion by defeating
Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring.
Though his reign was short-lived, the seven-foot monster
proved he could live up to (and surpass) all
expectations.
Since then, Kane has held
titles 10 times. Once a man of no emotion, Kane has
somewhat broken out of his shell. But he still remains a
monster in the ring.
